Co-operative Toyota Hearing tests

During August/September 2013, Hearing Link staff conducted 40 industry standard hearing tests for staff at Co-operative Motors in Argyle Street, Hobart. The tests were conducted over 4 days with all staff receiving  comprehensive  questioning about their hearing and noise history and experience an ear canal examination, before receiving a full industry specification hearing test, followed by discussion and reporting to management. In addition, all noise creating machinery at Co-operative Toyota was noise tested and recommendations.


One Steel Hearing Tests

Over two days in August 2013, Hearing Link conducted industry standard hearing tests for nine staff at One Steel’s Somerset and Kings Meadows sites. The tests were conducted only after a comprehensive workplace training session for the sites. On site noise testing was also completed at both sites.

Imatech Joinery

In October 2013, industry hearing testing for 12 staff was completed for Imatech Joinery at their Glenorchy workshops. For noise exposed industry, hearing tests are a requirement every two years and these tests were a follow up for tests completed in 2011. Imatech also owns Linen Services Tasmania and at their request a comprehensive noise test of the location was completed and recommendations sent to the company.
