Keep the Music Campaign at Hearing Link Tasmania

Hearing Link Tasmania recently launched its new community education campaign,  ‘Keep the Music’, which is aimed at creating awareness of hearing safety for patrons of live music venues and nightclubs in Hobart and Launceston.

Ear bud stations were set up in the participating venues, together with information kits made up of posters and flyers. The ‘Keep the Music’ campaign aims to inform patrons about the impacts of excessive exposure to loud noise, such as the speakers and sound systems at live music venues and night clubs.

Hearing Link Tasmania’s  ‘Keep the Music’ campaign launch coincided with the national Hearing Awareness Week which took place from 19-25 August 2012.
